Whatcha Watchin' is a TV show tracking app developed and published by Scott Albert Advisory LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you use our app and how it is used.

By using Whatcha Watchin', you agree to the practices described in this policy.

Information We Collect

Whatcha Watchin' does not require you to create an account or provide any personal information to use the app.

The following data may be collected:

• Show and episode data: Your tracked shows, watched episodes, and ratings are stored locally on your device and are not transmitted to our servers.
• Notification preferences: Your episode notification settings are stored locally on your device.
• Advertising identifiers: If you have not purchased the ad-free upgrade, Google AdMob may collect your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) to serve relevant ads. See the Advertising section below for details.
• Crash and diagnostic data: Apple may collect anonymized crash logs to help us improve the app. This is subject to your device's privacy settings.

How We Use Information

We use the limited data described above solely to:

• Provide and improve the core functionality of the app
• Deliver episode notifications you have requested
• Serve advertisements to users who have not purchased the ad-free upgrade

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.

Third-Party Services

Whatcha Watchin' uses the following third-party services:

• The Movie Database (TMDB): We use the TMDB API to retrieve TV show information, episode data, and artwork. TMDB receives search queries but does not receive any personally identifiable information about you. See TMDB's Privacy Policy.
• Google AdMob: For users who have not purchased the ad-free upgrade, we use Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve relevant ads. See Google's Privacy Policy. You can opt out of personalized ads in your iPhone Settings under Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising.

Advertising

Whatcha Watchin' displays banner and interstitial advertisements powered by Google AdMob for users on the free version of the app. These ads may be personalized based on your device's advertising identifier.

You can remove all ads permanently with a one-time in-app purchase. Once purchased, AdMob is disabled and no advertising identifiers are accessed by the app.

To opt out of personalized advertising on your iPhone, go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising and disable Personalized Ads.

In-App Purchases

Whatcha Watchin' offers a one-time in-app purchase to remove ads. All purchases are processed securely by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or store any payment information.

Data Storage & Security

Your show list, watched episodes, ratings, and preferences are stored locally on your device using standard iOS storage. This data is included in your device's iCloud backup if you have iCloud backup enabled.

We do not operate servers that store your personal data.

Children's Privacy

Whatcha Watchin' is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through our app, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

Your Choices

• Notifications: You can enable or disable episode notifications in the app or in your iPhone Settings.
• Advertising: Purchase the ad-free upgrade to disable all advertising and advertising tracking within the app.
• Data deletion: Deleting the app from your device removes all locally stored data.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
